Boat

BOAT is a travel journal created in 2010 that retraces my different artistic periods. BOAT is my treasure box — my “BOîte À Trésors”, or Box As Treasures.

This book illustrates my creative process: compiling images, photographs, small objects and other nods gathered along my travels, which inspire my works and slip into them.

My poems and short inspiring phrases, written while painting, are interspersed throughout the book among my watercolours, pastels, acrylics, collages and sculptures.
