For the 30th International Salon of Contemporary Artists in Saint-Tropez, I share the exhibition space with textile sculptor Yasmina Kijek.
A shared weave, a single guiding thread lead us both to explore the magic of textile, each drawing from it her own unique aesthetic.
Our works complement and extend one another to tell our stories: that of a painter who replaces her paint with mesh to dress (or undress) her muses, and that of a sculptor who tears and twists her bedsheets before covering them in gold leaf.
Free entry, 10.30 am to 8 pm.
