Hats

Already drawn to the world of hats while living in France, she discovered, in the countries where she lived or travelled, an extraordinary diversity of shapes, materials, uses and symbolism. Protection from sun or rain, cultural marker, everyday object or ceremonial finery: each hat says something about the person who wears it and the land it belongs to. Over time, this fascination became material for her art.
